You don't need all the bells and whistles yet, but when you do, you likely won't need to change platforms as Squarespace can grow with your dreams. E-commerce, courses, gated content, sales pages, etc... Squarespace has your back!

Yes, while The Joan is primarily designed as a portfolio website and doesn't come with a pre-designed shop, adding a shop to your site is easy and seamless as your business grows.

Once you complete your purchase and tick the very important checkbox at checkout, you’ll be redirected to a screen where you can immediately create your account for the Resource Vault. You'll also receive a receipt. Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder).

Within 1-3 business days, you'll get another email with the link to your website template.

You'll need to click that link ASAP to gain access. If you reply to that email letting me know you're in, I'll go back in and make you the owner of the site.

You can do so many customizations, and the more complex ones may require some skill (or at least some patience).

However, I created the Resource Vault to help you customize and launch your website quickly, and without needing to have supertechpowers.

Nope. The Joan will be its own separate website—a clean slate.

I'm pretty sure it can take you a week or less so long as you have your images ready and clarity on what you want to write on your website.

To add a little excitement, you can qualify for a website mini-audit if you publish it in an annual plan in 30 days or less of receiving your template.

No worries! You’ll receive a 6-month extended trial, giving you plenty of time to perfect your site before going live. Squarespace’s standard trial is just 14 days, so this gives you much more flexibility.

If you already have purchased a plan with Squarespace, don't worry, it's a straightforward process to publish your new site, switch your domain over and get a prorated refund for your old plan. I walk you through it inside the Resource Vault.

No. You'll need to purchase a domain and a Squarespace plan to publish your site.

The good news? If you don't have a domain yet, Squarespace will waive the first year domain fee.

The website template doesn't include a way to collect newsletter subscribers, but that doesn't mean you can't add that functionality on your own.

You can integrate your favorite email marketing software (I recommend Flodesk) fairly easily.

It depends on the choices you make. For example, you'll need a privacy policy to ensure your site is legal. You may already have one, or purchase one from my recommended resources.

If you add e-commerce functionality, you'll also incur additional fees when you sell an item from your payment processor (Stripe, Squarespace Payments, Paypal, Square, etc).

Expect increases in business expenses as your business grows. :)
